Supporting Scottish Artists

Within our homes we like to have quirky and timeless curios that evoke personality and have an interesting story.

Emma Studio is an amazing Edinburgh based artist who creates unique and interesting vases’ and interior pieces from coloured cast concrete. I think they are charming, and a great way to bring colour into any space.
It also makes me feel good to know that I am supporting a local creative, with a unique craft.

After a year of experimenting with recipes and moulds within her mother’s humble garden shed, Emma now creates a collection of contemporary concrete products. From vessels to art objects and homeware- Emma Studio Concrete- Photography by Lee Davidson Connor http://www.leedavidsonconnor.com

Concrete is a very versatile material, which can be both strong and beautiful.
Creating such organic product means that they are different every time. This small Vase with its unique colouring and seemingly crumbling outer-shell makes it appear to be naturalistic. I love it, I thought you might to.
